Preschool School Assistant - Full Time
Stages Academy, a performing arts preschool and afterschool program, is looking for a full-time, schoolwide Preschool Assistant for our Buckingham location!
We are a school based on the Reggio Emilia approach to education and provide a program that challenges a child's whole brain by putting academics and the arts on an even playing field. Our unique program allows students to attend classes on a rotational basis in 35-minute intervals throughout the day, providing them with the opportunity to learn from a wide variety of teachers and staff.

This is not a classroom position! Our assistants support our school by assisting in lunch and snack times, nap time, afternoon play times, van transports for elementary school before and after school students, when necessary, and afternoon dismissal while the teachers are teaching their classes. Assistants work one on one with groups of 6-10 children (depending on their age) and are an integral part of the day-to-day function of our school.

**Please note that this position is for 5 days per week of employment, Monday-Friday.

Candidates should:
-
have a high school diploma or higher.
-
have experience working in a childcare facility and supervising young children,
-
be friendly, detail-oriented, creative, and a team players.
We pay a minimum of $11/hour (starting rate based on level of education) with 4 opportunities throughout the first year to earn an additional $4.50 per hour! Raise your pay an additional $1 per hour as early as your first day when all preliminary paperwork is complete! Benefits package available to full-time employees.
